El Tur is every year more known windsurfing destination on the Red Sea. The town itself is completely non-touristic. This will for sure satisfy those windsurfers, that love pure sport and won't miss the nightlife. El Tur as windsurf spot offers conditions for all levels of windsurfers - from the safe bay with flat water to moderate wave conditions. Normally, the wind blows offshore from the morning till the evening, creating a perfect flat water - ideal for beginners, freestylers and those, that just love the speed and jibe-practicing on flat and shallow water, that will ensure progress also with intermediate windsurfers who want to succeed in their first water start. Cca 3 km north, we can find a proper wave spot with nice waves up to 2 meters, suitable for first rides and jumps.

At the moment, there is only one windsurf center in El Tur - Ibi & Friends. Fanatic boards and North Sails, Challenger and Hot Sails Maui sails available, almost all rigs with RDM masts. In the station we can find also a nice big chill out place with wireless internet connection. A cup of tea or coffee is a welcome gesture from the managers of the station. cca 100 m away we can find a Beach bar, where we can order some burgers, chips or other snacks during the day. If we want to relax, there are deck chairs on the beach and a volleyball court for non-windy days. Trips to nearest mountain (beautiful sunsets) or snorkeling in the nature park Ras Mohamed can also be organized. 

Moses Bay hotel is situated on the peninsula, only 300 m from the sea. It is surrounded with a private beach, on which we can find the windsurf station. The rooms are separated from the main building, where we can find dining room and reception. The rooms are simple and cozy, equipped with air condition, TV and a small fridge. All rooms have balcony or terrace and sea view. They are daily cleaned and the bedding is daily washed. Next to the hotel, totally on the beach we can find 10 wooden bungalows, equipped with ceiling fan and a small fridge. The bungalows are budget option of accommodation and have common toilets and showers. The hotel offers self service half board - breakfast and dinner. The food is very good and suitable for vegetarians as well. Due to better water quality then in other parts of Egypt, we can freely enjoy fruits and vegetables.
