Prasonisi Pro Center CK is one of the largest and best-equipped windsurfing centers in Europe, boasting a long-standing tradition. They refresh their fleet annually with the latest premium gear from NeilPryde and JP-Australia, catering to every style - from wave and freestyle to freerace, foiling, and specialized setups for kids (Young Guns). The spot is world-renowned for its unique sandbar that divides the sea into two distinct areas: the leeward side offers perfectly flat water for speed and tricks, while the windward side provides safe, breaking waves ideal for your first wave-riding experience.

Wind statistic (August): 90%+ of windy days. // Force: 15–30+ knots (reliable thermal Meltemi blowing throughout the day). // Vibe: Due to the strong and consistent wind, smaller sails between 4.0 and 6.2 m2 are the standard, while the sandy bottom on both sides of the spot ensures safe and easy access to the water.

The rest of the group is accommodated in the charming village of Kattavia at the Prasonisi Club aparthotel. Each unit features a private balcony, a small kitchenette, and a private bathroom. You can choose from twin, triple, or quadruple rooms, all of which are cleaned daily. Our hosts will provide a delicious breakfast to kickstart your day, and the shared terrace is the perfect spot for evening video analyses and socializing. Kattavia is approximately a 5 km drive from the surf spot and 1.5 hours from the airport. We highly recommend renting a car for easy island exploration and getting to the beach, as group transfers are not provided.

Right at Prasonisi beach, there are two large restaurants serving Greek specialties and fresh seafood, along with a snack bar and two shops for quick bites, sandwiches, or salads. Kattavia itself offers two small grocery stores and three traditional tavernas. The most famous among them is Eftihia, highly rated on TripAdvisor and a must-visit for anyone looking for an authentic Greek culinary experience.

We kick off our mornings on Rhodes with a mobility session, followed by breakfast and then a video analysis, where we break down yesterday’s sessions and set the goals for the upcoming lessons. When Prasonisi delivers, the wind is relentless, allowing us to windsurf from dawn till dusk. On those rare calm days, we swap our sails for SUPs or head out to discover the island’s hidden gems.

Rhodes is packed with iconic spots: from the picture-perfect white village of Lindos and its ancient Acropolis to the medieval streets of Rhodes Old Town. For a nature fix, the lush Valley of the Butterflies or a dip in the emerald waters of Anthony Quinn Bay are absolute musts. As for the nightlife, a stroll through the local tavernas in Kattavia always reveals a lively atmosphere and that authentic Greek hospitality that makes the camp truly special.
