Sidi Kaouki windsurf station is arguably one of the most impressive windsurf stations in the world. Built for true wave riders, it’s stocked with legendary Witchcraft and Starboard boards, paired with Hot Sails Maui rigs. If the wind takes a break, we have a full fleet of SUPs and surfboards ready to go. The setup is world-class: gear storage and lockers in the basement, and a restaurant with panoramic terraces on the upper floors. There’s no better place to grab a post-session drink while watching the sun sink into the Atlantic.

In Sidi Kaouki we don’t just sit and wait for the wind. The center features a mobile unit - if the swell or wind is pumping harder at spots like Essaouira, Moulay, or Taginza, we load the custom trailer and head where the action is. To top it off, our Sidi experience includes the specialized LOOP Camp for those looking to spice your session up! Bonus for 2026: This year, we’re exclusively offering the option to rent gear from Boujmaa’s center next door. If you’d prefer to ride his setup, just let us know in the notes when you book.

A Wave rider’s playground Sidi Kaouki is a place of raw beauty and powerful elements. The main spot features a wide, sandy beach with a safe entry, making it surprisingly accessible for your first real wave experience. The Atlantic swell here is consistent, creating long, peeling waves (1–3m) that are perfect for both jumping and wave riding. Because the beach is so vast, there’s always plenty of space to find your own peak without the crowds. In May, the thermal wind (the famous Nortada) starts to kick into high gear. This side-shore breeze is boosted by the heat of the desert, creating a reliable "fan" that often blows from midday until sunset.

In Sidi Kaouki, we’ve found a home in charming Moroccan-style apartments (for 2–4 people) bursting with local color and character. Each unit comes with its own kitchen or kitchenette and private bathroom, located just a few minutes' walk from the surf station. Our standard packages include garden-view apartments. For those who want to wake up to the sound of the Atlantic, we offer a limited number of sea-view apartments for an additional fee (price depends on the unit size). Amazing self service breakfast is served on the stunning terrace of the windsurf center, overlooking the break - the perfect spot to plan our daily mission. Dinners are not included in the package to give us the freedom to explore. We’ can head into the nearby town of Essaouira to get lost in the medina and discover authentic Moroccan eateries. On other nights, we keep it raw and local: traditional tagines served right on the beach, feet in the sand, by the light of a crackling bonfire.

We kick off our mornings in Sidi Kaouki with some mobility stretching before hitting the water for our windsurf courses. Depending on the conditions, we pick our "toys": from surfboards and SUPs to full windsurf rigs. With our rental cars, we have endless freedom to explore nearby spots and the raw natural beauty of Morocco.

If the wind takes a break, the magic of the region unfolds. You can go camel or horseback riding along the endless sandy dunes at sunset, or visit local Argan oil cooperatives to see how the famous "Moroccan gold" is traditionally crafted. For a change of pace, we can head to the nearby Essaouira, a UNESCO-listed port town where you can wander through the vibrant medina, explore artisan workshops, and enjoy the freshest seafood right at the harbor.

Evenings are reserved for video analysis and soaking in the atmosphere. Nightlife? In Sidi Kaouki, you’ll find more breathtaking sunsets and soul-soothing silence than wild parties - and after a world-class day in the Atlantic swell, that’s exactly what makes it perfect.
